I bought a Kinisium after reading about them online and they live up to the hype. I wanted a way of being notified if our safe was being interfered with and it works perfectly. We are in Australia so we don't have SMS notifications yet, but the email alerts are virtually instant. Very happy and I have recommended to our daughters.
The unit is super easy to set up and incredibly responsive. I keep mine on the handle to my safe and there's no way it gets accessed without me knowing about it. The alerts are super fast - darn near instantaneous!
As a disabled veteran I have attended far to many of my brothers funerals. Finally there is a device that allows us to check on each other. 3am and I get a txt, after he’s opened his gun safe, I can check on my buddy and ask if he’s ok.

The SafeAlert is a great product. It was easy to set up, and it definitely works. I was a little skeptical about putting it inside a safe (weak/no signal in there?) but it works just fine, even in a safe/drawer, etc. and gives a nearly instant alert (text message) when it is moved. It's very sensitive, as well...with it sitting on a table, jumping on the floor next to the table sets it off when it's on the most sensitive setting (and you can adjust the sensitivity, as well).
I recommend this, and am actually thinking about getting another one.
This is an incredibly important device to monitor sensitive areas in your home or business. If someone barely breaths on it, it reports via SMS to your phone. I wouldn't use it to replace securing a gun properly as you might not get to the weapon before it's used inappropriately, but I would use it for other areas that you don't want prying eyes or hands nearby. This is a GREAT device, the right size, and it works exactly as you think it should -- every time!
